ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited for accurate calibration
ISO/IEC 17025:2005 is the international standard that defines the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) have issued a joint communication which states:
‘A laboratory’s fulfilment of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 means the laboratory meets both the technical competence requirements and management system requirements that are necessary for it to consistently deliver technically valid test results and calibrations.’
It is the single most important standard imposed upon calibration and testing laboratories, therefore equipment used and calibrated outside of these laboratories are also subjected to the same ISO standards.
The IMC Group are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 which indicates we have been provided with formal recognition from an authority’s body. We meet the international accreditation standards for performing calibration so you know you are in good hands when sending in your units for calibration.
