Sales Order Processing Administrator

Reporting to:

Account Manager – Distributors

Pendle House, Letchworth Garden City

Main Purpose of the Job:

To process all the orders that are received from the overseas distributors and other Ellab divisions. Be able to deal with queries as they arise. Provide reception and be primary telephone answered for the company providing a great customer service.

Key Tasks

  • To process and progress sales orders.
  • To handle incoming sales related calls.
  • Customer liaison.
  • To notify management of any perceived difficulties within the groups processes.
  • To ensure any deficiencies in product performance or documentation is brought to the attention of the relevant personnel.

General Role

  • To ensure that all quality assurance issues are reported immediately to the relevant personnel.
  • To attend relevant courses if requested to do so.
  • To participate actively in the group appraisal system.
  • To attend and participate in all relevant meetings.
  • To behave at all times in such a way as to foster a positive image of the group and colleagues.
  • To comply with Health and Safety regulations and group policy.
  • To undertake additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the directors.

Knowledge, skills & experience required (Essential) :

  • Fast learner of new ERP systems and ability to write processes/procedures.
  • High level of accuracy
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Positive outlook and highly motivated
  • Good telephone manner.

Knowledge, skills & experience required (Desirable):

  • The ability to be able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with computers.
  • Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office Tools.
  • To be able to keep detailed records.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enjoyment of team working,
  • Motivated individual with a positive attitude and flexible approach to work.

Working hours:

  • Standard 37.5 hour week
    • 08:30- 16:30 Monday to Thursday
    • 08:00- 16:00 Friday
